Gamers can enjoy playing the Rummy Patti game in three different modes of play on our platform. This section explains the three modes in detail. Before reading up on the gaming modes, please read and understand How to Play Rummy Patti, its variations and terms and conditions on our platform.
As the name indicates, our gamers can play and enjoy this game free of any charges using the free gaming mode. Gamers can use this gaming mode to practice and improve their understanding and skills at the game, play with their peers and challenge them, make new friends before they attempt to play the real money game. You must be 18 years of age or above in order to play this game.
We will be offering three gaming variations of Rummy Patti (R3P, R4P and RJP) in the free gaming mode. Gamers will be awarded with virtual chips as joining bonus at the time of their joining to enable them to play the free games. Gamers will be able to earn more virtual chips along their journey through the following means.
Daily Loyalty Bonus: This is awarded to Gamers to reward their loyalty for logging in and playing the game on daily basis. Please refer to the Bonus policy section for details.
Level Progression Bonus: Gamers begin their journey in the free game at Level 1 and can progress to next higher levels as they keep playing and winning games. At the time of each level progression, Gamers will be awarded with a level progression bonus to reward their progress (predefined amount of virtual chips).
Winning Games: Gamers can earn chips when they win free games with their peers. When they win a game, the entire chips in the pot is transferred to the winners account. Please note that you also lose chips when you lose a game.
We will be coming up with more features and challenges to earn more chips and the Gamers will be updated about the same at the appropriate time.
Once you log in to our App and access the free gaming section, you can choose the variation you want to play amongst Rummy 3 Patti (R3P), Rummy 4 Patti (R4P) or any other variation that may be launched from time to time. Once you select the variation, you will be seated on a gaming table accordingly. You may either be allocated to an existing game table or a new gaming table based on the number of active players available at that point of time. If there is an active game taking place, then you may have to wait until it completes to join the next game.
Gamers will use the free virtual chips available with them to play games in the free gaming mode. These virtual chips are granted to the Users at various points of time as explained above.
At the beginning of the game, the boot money of that table gets collected from you. This is the entry fee for participating in the game. As the game progresses, Gamers will be required to play as per the rules of the game by playing Chaal or sideshow or pack. Gamers will have to deposit chaal amounts at each turn of play from their virtual chips in order to continue playing. If you want to understand in more detail, we recommend you read up section on how to play Rummy Patti on our platform before proceeding
At the end of the game, the winner is decided based on who has the highest ranked hand amongst the active Gamers. If there is just one Gamer left and all others have packed, the last standing Gamer automatically wins the game. The winner of the game earns the total virtual chips in the pot and the same is added to their virtual chips balance. In case you lose the game, then you lose the chips deposited thus far in the game. And then the next game begins and the same cycle continues.
You may choose to exit the table at any time during the game. It is recommended that you exit the table at the end of a game and while it is taking place. If you exit in the middle of a game, then the chips you have deposited until then is lost.
Some key points to note regarding the free gaming mode.
Gamers are usually provided about 10 to 15 seconds to make their play. If they fail to make a move for whatever reason, the system will make a play for them the on the first occasion by simply depositing the ongoing chaal amount on the Gamer’s behalf.
If the same happens for a second time, the Gamer is logged out of the game and taken to the home screen. Whatever chips were deposited by the Gamer in the game until then is lost.
The more you play these games, the more you hone your skills and stand to win more chips. Keep playing and winning more to progress to the next levels and earn more virtual chips. Please note that these virtual chips are dummy currencies and hold no real money value. They are not transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash. These chips cannot be sed to play real money games on our platform.
Once Gamers have practiced playing the free gaming mode, they can switch to the real money gaming mode to take the fun and excitement a notch higher by playing in the real money gaming mode and try and earn some real cash. This gaming mode will require Gamers to deposit real cash in to their virtual wallets before they can start playing real money games. While the core game is similar to how a free game is played, there are some key differences and requirements in this gaming mode.
Gamers will be able to play real money games only when they have adequate deposits balance in their virtual wallets.
Gamers will be required to pay an entry fee in order to gain entry and play a real money game. The entry fee for real money games will be deducted from the Gamer’s wallet at the time of registering for the game.
The virtual chips that Gamer may have in their free gaming account cannot be used to play real money games.
The real money single table games are made available in the form of gaming lobbies. Upon logging in to the real money section of the App, Gamers will be able to see a list of available gaming lobbies across R3P, R4P and any other game variations. Each gaming lobby will have the following characteristics or features. The Gamer will have the option to review the available gaming lobbies and then decide on which one they want to play.
Game Lobby Name
Number of Games that will be played in each lobby
Entry Fee for the Lobby
Prize Money for the Lobby
Number of Gamers waiting at the Lobby already
Gamers can review the list of gaming lobbies available and choose to join any of them as per their preference. The Gamers can view details of each Lobby by clicking on the Details or Join button on that lobby. A new window will open up showing full details and terms of that particular gaming lobby. Upon reviewing the details, the Gamer can choose to play the game by clicking “Join” again.
Upon clicking Join,
Gamer agrees to have read and accepted the terms and conditions of that particular game or tourney or tournament
The entry fee for that lobby gets deducted from the Gamer’s wallet balance and deposited in a temporary virtual holding wallet (created for that particular gaming lobby) until the end of the game.
This temporary wallet will hold all the Gamer’s deposits for that lobby until the game finishes and the winner is determined and paid out.
Each game will usually provide a discount on the entry fee. The discount% are pre-decided by the Company for each game or tourney and will be shown to the User at the time of registration.
This discount will automatically be applied to the entry fees by deducting an equivalent amount from the bonus account of the User. In case, the User does not have adequate bons balance, then there are no discounts applicable.
These are single table games and each game lobby can accommodate a minimum of 2 Gamers and a maximum of 6. Once the first Gamer joins the game lobby by depositing the entry fee, the game lobby is activated and opened for other Gamers to join in.
The first Gamer is seated at the gaming table and a countdown timer of 2 minutes starts allowing time for other Gamers to join this particular gaming lobby. Other Gamers can join this gaming lobby by following the process above.
The game will start either once all 6 seats are filled up at the table or once the countdown timer ends, whichever happens earlier.
For the game to begin, it is necessary that at least 2 Gamers have joined the table. If there is only one Gamer present at the table at the end of the countdown timer, then the game is cancelled and the entry fee is returned to the Gamer’s wallet.
All Gamers who joined the game are seated in random order and are provided with predefined amount of virtual chips at the start of the game.
The virtual chips provided depends on the gaming lobby chosen. However, each Gamer in that particular game gets the same amount of chips.
The chips are provided only once at the start of the games and there is no option to refill or rebuy the chips again.
These chips can be used only for this particular game lobby and can neither be used in any other gaming lobby or tourney nor can be added to the Gamer’s account balance.
Once the game lobby starts, the Gamers are required to play and compete in predefined number of games (as defined in the game Lobby terms and conditions).
For example, some game lobbies will require Gamers to compete in set of 3 games, while some others may require Gamers to play set of 6 games or more.
The core game rules remain the same. If you want to learn more about how to play Rummy Patti, please refer to the how to play Rummy Patti section.
The game lobby comes to a close once the predefined numbers of games are completed and the winner of the game is determined.
At the end of the predefined number of games, the Gamer with the highest number of chips remaining (chips balance) is defined as the winner of that particular gaming lobby.
In case two or more Gamers are tied for the first place and have the same chips balance at the end of the games, then the winning prize money is shared amongst those gamers.
Upon completion of the game lobby and determination of the winner, the winning prize money is transferred to the winnings account of the respective Winner’s wallet. The prize money will reflect in the winnings balance of the wallet section within 24 to 48 hours, subject to fair play checks conducted by the Company.
If the maximum allowed Gamers (6 Gamers) participated in the game lobby, then the winnings amount is the prize money defined in the gaming lobby at the time of joining.
However, if less than 6 Gamers participated in the Game lobby, then the prize money is prorated according to the number of Gamers participating.
For example, if only 4 Gamers participated in the game lobby out of a maximum 6 allowed, then the total prize money is prorated as the following: Revised Prize Money = (Original Prize Money/6)* 4.
The prize money is paid out from the temporary virtual wallet created for this game lobby as follows.
From the winnings prize money, the deposit made by the Gamer as the entry fee from the deposit wallet is deducted from the prize money and sent back to the deposit wallet (Let’s say X)
Please note that any bonus amount once used towards entry fee is not refunded to the bonus wallet.
The Company may also charge a platform fee or commission from the winning prize money (Let’s say Y). The exact commission or platform/service fee for each Gaming lobby may change and will be mentioned in the Gaming Lobby details when the Gamer registers for the same.
The final prize money post deduction of deposit amount (X) and the Company’s commission (Y) is transferred to the Gamer’s winning balance in the wallet. (Final Prize Money = Prize Money - X – Y)
Once the prize money payout is made, the temporary virtual wallet created for this game lobby is closed permanently.
In cases where a Gamer runs out of their chips balance during the game, then they will not be able to participate in the gaming lobby any further. They will be considered to have lost out the game and are exited from the gaming lobby.
It is the responsibility of the Gamer to ensure that their internet service is stable and has a strong bandwidth to ensure there are no disruptions to the game at their end. The Company will take no responsibility for the same and the entry fees deposited by the Gamer will not be returned in such situations.
However, we do understand that such situations may arise in exceptional circumstances for the Gamer. Hence, in case the Gamer gets logged off in the middle of a game due to temporary internet disruption or for any other reason, then the following will happen.
The system will autoplay for the Gamer for one turn of play when the Gamer is unavailable. The system will only deposit the ongoing Chaal amount and will not exchange any cards for the Gamer
The Gamer should log back in to the game before their next turn of play or the beginning of the next game, whichever is earlier.
If the Gamer is unable to join back by then, then they are exited from the gaming lobby.
In cases where the Gamer voluntarily exits from the game by choosing the exit game/table option midway, then they are exited from the gaming lobby immediately and cannot join back the game.
In rare cases of any service disruptions in the middle of a game due to any issues at the Company’s end, then the gaming lobby is cancelled and the Gamers will be returned their entry fees. The entry fees will be deposited back in to the source wallets (deposit or bonus wallet)
We recommend that the Gamer first plays a few free games to get comfortable with the gameplay and the rules and regulations of the game.
We also recommend that the gamer participate in real money games which have lower entry fees before going for the high stake games.
In case of any grievances or disputes regarding a particular tourney, the Gamer will have the opportunity to report the same within 30 days from the date of the tourney. The Company will review the same in a fair manner and revert to the respective Gamer. We will try to resolve the grievance within 15 working days. The decision of the Company will be final and binding in such situations.
Unlike the Real Money Single table mode explained above, the real money tourney is a multi table gaming mode. Here, Gamers participate in a single game that happens across multiple tables at the same time.
While the core gameplay remains the same, this format is very different from the real money single table games. Some of the key features include
Tourneys follow a multi table gaming format: Large number of Gamers compete against each other across multiple tables, but in the same game, happening at the same time
Larger Prize Pool: Tourneys in general have a larger overall prize pool when compared to single table game
More Prize Winners: Larger prize pool provides the opportunity to reward a larger number of gamers with prizes
Higher Prize Money: Each winner will have the opportunity to earn higher prize money compared to a single table game. This depends on the winning position of the Gamer.
Time Based Games: Unlike in single table game, tourneys are time based. For example, a low stake tourney game may take place for 10 minutes, while a larger stake game may go on for 30 minutes.
Point System: While the winners in a single table game are decided based on chips balance, the winners of tourneys are decided based on a point system designed to reward the Gamer for quality of game played and not only the result of win or loss.
Given that the tourney format is completely different from how the other game modes work, it is important that you read and understand this format in detail before participating in a tourney. Tourneys are available only in real money gaming format. The entry fee for real money tourneys will be paid only through the wallets. Similar to single table games, the Gamers will be provided with virtual chips to play the tourney at start of the tourney upon payment of the entry fees.
The real money tourneys are made available in the form of tourney lobbies. Upon logging in to the tourney section of the App, Gamers will be able to see a list of available tourney lobbies across R3P, R4P and RJP game variations. Each tourney lobby will have the following characteristics or features. The Gamer will have the option to review the available tourney lobbies and then decide on which one they want to play.
Tourney Lobby Name
Entry Fee for the Lobby
Total Prize Money for the Lobby
Number of Prize Winners for the lobby
Time duration of the lobby
Slots filled up/Slots available
In addition to the snapshot available here, on clicking join, a new pop up will open showing the details of that particular tourney lobby, its terms and conditions, prize money for each winning position, etc. The Gamers are expected to read up the details and understand before signing up for any tourney.
Unlike single table games which can start on need basis depending on gamer availability, tourneys take place at scheduled time. When Gamer logs in to the tourney section of the app, they will be able to view the various upcoming tourneys and their scheduled time. This provides the opportunity for the Gamer to plan and prebook the tourney as per their preferred timeframe.
Once Gamers have reviewed the details of the tourney and the schedules, they can register for any of their preferred tourneys by clicking “Join”. On clicking Join,
The entry fee for that lobby gets deducted from the Gamer’s wallet balance and deposited in a temporary virtual holding wallet (created for that particular tourney lobby) until the end of the tourney
This temporary wallet will hold all the Gamer’s deposits for that lobby until the tourney finishes and the winner is determined and paid out.
Each tourney will usually provide a discount on the entry fee.
Once the Gamer registers for a tourney, it will get added to their list of registered tourneys and a reminder will be sent just before the tourney is about to start.
Tourneys take place across multiple tables at the same time. Let’s assume that there are 60 Gamers allowed in a particular tourney and all 60 have registered for the tourney.
The tourney lobby is opened up at the scheduled time and Gamers can join in. A waiting time of 2 minutes is provided before the start of the tourney to allow all registered Gamers to join.
At the end of waiting time, all Gamers are seated across multiple tables in random allocation format. 60 gamers will be seated across 10 tables (6 Gamers per table). Gamers will not be allowed to join the tourney once the table allocation starts.
In any case, there will be a minimum of 4 players seated on any gaming table
Once Gamers are seated, each Gamer is provided with same number of chips across all the tables. Once chips are distributed, the tourney timer starts across all the tables. The tourney starts and ends at the same time across all the tables.
Gamers are provided chips only once at the start of the tourney and they cannot refill or by more chips for the same tourney again.
Once the timer starts, Gamers on each table get to play the Rummy Patti game against the Gamers on their particular table. The gameplay and the hierarchy of hands are similar to how a free game is played.
Gamers thus get to play multiple games within the predefined time limit for that tourney.
Gamers are rewarded with points at the end of each game based on their gameplay and the result of the game. The point system is explained in the subsequent section.
Gamers are then ranked from top to bottom based on their cumulative points at the end of each game.
While the game is played on each table in a silo, the ranking process is common across all the tables in that tourney and all Gamers participating in the tourney are ranked from top to bottom based on their points.
Gamers will be able to view their points and ranks at the end of each game so that they can tune their gameplay accordingly.
At the end of the time limit, the tourney is stopped across all the tables and the final ranking and points of each Gamer is published on all the tables.
Any active game being played is stopped at the end of time limit across all tables and the cards are opened up for display. The Gamers are awarded points based on the cards they hold at that point of time.
Gamers are informed of their final points, ranking and the prize money based on their final rankings.
The prize money is paid out to the Gamers within 24 to 48 hours in their respective winnings wallet, subject to fair play checks.
The points system is designed in such a way that Gamers are rewarded not only for winning the game, but also for their skill in forming hands. There is also a points multiplier system to reward the risk taken by the Gamer during the gameplay. The points system is shown in the table below and works as follows.
At the end of each game, each Gamer is awarded points based on the hands they managed to form during the game. For example, a Gamer who formed a triplet earns 25 base points while a Gamer with a Pure Sequence earns 18 base points.
On top of this, the Gamer who wins that particular game gets the benefit of a multiplier on their base points earned. In the above example, the Gamer with a Pure Sequence is eligible for a multiplier of 3 and hence his/her total points becomes 54 (18 base points * 3) due to the multiplier effect.
Please note that the total points earned by the winner above is inclusive of the base points awarded initially for forming the hand.
As can be seen from the table below, the multiplier is designed in such a way to reward Gamers who take the risk to play and win the game with lower ranked hands.
Thus both the skill of the Gamer and the risk taking ability are rewarded making the contest more exciting.
| Real Money Tourney Point System | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hands Formed | Base Points | Multiplier | Total Points (Win) | Total Points (Loss) |
| Triplet | 25 | 2 | 50 | 25 |
| Pure Sequence | 18 | 3 | 54 | 18 |
| Impure Sequence | 12 | 5 | 60 | 12 |
| Color | 8 | 9 | 72 | 8 |
| Doubles | 5 | 12 | 60 | 5 |
| High Card | 3 | 15 | 45 | 3 |
The Gamers are thus ranked at the end of each game and then finally at the end of the tourney and published on each table.
Gamers who have qualified for prizes based on their final rankings will be rewarded with their prize money within 24 to 48 hours subject to fair play checks carried out by the Company. The Prize money will get deposited in to their respective winnings wallet.
In case two or more Gamers are tied at the same rank based on their points, then the winner is determined using the following logic.
The Gamer who has won the most number of games among the tied Gamers gets the higher rank
If the Gamers are tied based on the number of games won, then the Gamer with the most number of triplets formed in the tourney gets the higher rank.
If Gamers are tied still, then priority is given to the number of pure sequences, sequences and Color in that priority order to decide on ranking order.
If Gamers are still tied at the end of it, then the rank is shared amongst the tied Gamers.
If N Gamers are tied at a rank, then the next (N-1) positions are made void. For example, if 3 Gamers are tied at Rank 1, then Rank 2 and Rank 3 becomes void.
The Gamers tied at the same rank also get to share the prize money. The prize money will be the total prize money for the tied rank as well as the ranks made void because of the tie.
In the above example, the 3 Gamers at Rank 1 share the prize pool of Rank 1, Rank 2 and Rank 3.
Once the results are verified, the prize money is distributed to all the prize winners. The prize money is deposited in to the winnings wallet of the respective Gamer in the following manner.
From the prize money, the deposit made by the Gamer for the entry fees of the tourney from the deposit wallet (let’s say X) is first deducted from the prize money and returned back to the deposit wallet of that Gamer
Any bonus amount used for discounting the entry fees will neither be refunded nor can be reused by the Gamer
The Company may also charge a commission or platform/service fees (let’s say Y) from the winners depending on the game or the tourney. If applicable, this commission amount is deducted from the prize money.
Any commission or platform/service fees applicable will be informed to the Gamer’s at the time of registering for the tourney.
The remaining prize money is then deposited in to the winnings wallet of the respective Gamer. (final Prize money deposited = Original prize money - X – Y)
Once all the prize money is paid out, the temporary wallet created for that tourney is closed
The prize pool and the actual prize money for winners in the tourney model depends on the Gamer participation levels in the tourney. The prize pool and the prize money for each winning position shown at the time of registration is assuming that the tourney participation will be at 100% capacity (maximum quorum participation).
However, there are chances that some of the tourneys may not achieve 100% participation. In such cases, the final prize pool and the prize money for each winning position will be prorated based on the participation levels before the payout to the respective Gamers.
For example, if in a tourney with capacity of 60 Gamers, only 54 Gamers register and participate, then the participation percentage is 90% of planned capacity. Hence the final payouts of prize money will be prorated by 90% for all Gamers who have won.
Please note that unless specifically called out otherwise in the terms of any particular game or tourney, the proration of prize money based on actual participation will apply for all real money games and tourneys.
Each tourney has a predefined minimum quorum (minimum Gamer participation against total slots). In cases where the minimum number of Gamers have not registered for the tourney before the scheduled start time, then the tourney will be cancelled.
The Gamers who registered will be informed and the entry fees will be refunded to their respective wallets.
Gamers are required to join the tourney at the scheduled time. A grace time of 2 minutes is provided as waiting time post which Gamers are allocated to their gaming tables. Any Gamer who is unable to join the tourney before the end of the waiting time will not be allowed to enter the tourney post that. In such cases, the entry fee paid by the Gamer will not be refunded.
At the time of table allocation, in rare scenarios where there are less than 4 players allocated to a gaming at the start of the tourney, that particular table will be cancelled. The Gamers will be refunded their entry fee in such scenarios.
In cases where a Gamer runs out of their chips balance during the game/tourney, they will not be able to participate in the tourney any further. They will be considered for final rankings based on the points they have earned until then.
We recommend that the Gamer first plays a few free games to get comfortable with the gameplay and the rules and regulations of the game.
The system will autoplay for the Gamer for one turn of play when the Gamer is unable to make a move. The system will only deposit the ongoing Chaal amount and will not exchange any cards for the Gamer.
The Gamer should log back in to the game before their next turn of play or the beginning of the next game, whichever is earlier.
If the Gamer is unable to join back by then, then they are exited from the tourney lobby. They will be considered for final rankings based on the points they have earned until then.
In cases where the Gamer voluntarily exits from the game by choosing the exit game/table option midway, then they are exited from the tourney lobby immediately and cannot join back the game. In such cases, the Gamer will not be considered for rankings and prize money.
In rare cases of any service disruptions in the middle of a game due to any issues at the Company’s end, then the tourney is cancelled and the Gamers will be returned their entry fees. The entry fees will be deposited back in to the source wallets (deposit or bonus wallet)
